Aqris was established in 2000 to support companies implement change and evolution. Understanding changing business needs and the ability to adapt our services, resources and technologies has made it possible for our clients to outperform competition.
What's with the name?
Aqris is derived from the latin word acris meaning sharp or to-the-point. Hence, Aqris develops software to the point with a Q for Quality.
In October 2000, XP Development OÜ was established. XP still denotes our passion for Extreme Programming and Agile methodologies. To avoid confusion when Microsoft Windows XP got released in 2001 we changed the name to Aqris. Later in 2002 we transformed the legal form from Private Limited Company (OÜ) to a Public Limited Company "Aqris Software AS".
